If you run a shop, agency, clinic or small factory around Naigaon, you need someone who files your returns on time, answers the phone when a notice arrives, and tells you plainly what something will cost. This guide sets out what that work involves, what we charge for the fixed-price parts, and what to ask before you hire anyone.

What a tax consultant actually handles

Most small business owners come to us for one thing and stay for the rest. The work falls into four buckets.

Starting the business

  • Choosing between a proprietorship, partnership, LLP or private limited company.
  • Registration with the MCA or the Registrar of Firms, PAN and TAN, and the paperwork your bank needs to open a current account.
  • Udyam (MSME) registration, Shop and Establishment, FSSAI for food businesses, and Professional Tax registration.

Monthly and quarterly compliance

  • GST registration, then GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B every month or quarter.
  • TDS payments and quarterly TDS returns.
  • PF and ESIC payments where you have staff, and the Maharashtra PTRC return.

Yearly work

  • Income tax returns for the business and for the owners.
  • Tax audit where turnover crosses the limit, with a CA signing the report.
  • ROC filings for companies and LLPs, such as AOC-4, MGT-7 and Form 8.

When something goes wrong

  • Income tax and GST notices, late filings, cancelled registrations and refunds stuck for years.

Our compliance calendar lists every GST, income tax, TDS and ROC date for this month, with the days left on each.

Published prices

These are our fixed prices for one-time registrations. They include our professional fee and are listed on each service page along with exactly what the package covers.

ServiceStarting priceUsual time
Proprietorship firm (without GST)₹1,9992 to 5 days
Proprietorship firm (with GST)₹3,4997 to 10 days
Partnership firm₹3,9995 to 7 days
LLP registration₹7,99910 to 15 days
Private limited company₹9,99910 to 15 days
FSSAI registration (small food business)₹1,9995 to 7 days
FSSAI state licence₹5,9995 to 7 days

Higher packages add things like trademark filing, the first year's compliance or a complete startup kit. The full breakdown sits on each service page.

Recurring work is quoted after a call. GST return filing, ITR filing, TDS returns, payroll compliance and bookkeeping depend on how many invoices, employees and returns you have. A ₹40 lakh trading business and a ₹4 crore one are not the same job, so a single advertised price would be misleading for one of them. Tell us your numbers and you get a figure the same day.

Send us your turnover, number of employees and the registrations you already hold. We will send back a clear monthly or yearly figure.

Documents to keep ready

For almost any registration, you will need:

  • PAN and Aadhaar of the owners, partners or directors.
  • A passport-size photo of each.
  • Proof of the business address: an electricity bill with a rent agreement and a no-objection letter from the owner, or the property papers if you own the place.
  • A cancelled cheque or bank statement.
  • For a company or LLP, a digital signature for each director or designated partner.

Food businesses also need a layout plan and a water test report for the higher FSSAI licences. GST registration needs photos of the premises and, for rented places, the rent agreement.

How we work

  1. A short call to understand the business and what you actually need, which is often less than people expect.
  2. A written quote with the fee and the time it will take.
  3. Documents over WhatsApp. No printouts, no visits unless you want to come in.
  4. Filing and follow-up, with the acknowledgement sent back to you.
  5. A reminder before every due date so nothing lapses.

How to choose a consultant

Ask these four questions before handing over your papers:

  • Who files the return, and will I get the acknowledgement? You should receive every acknowledgement and challan. If someone cannot produce them, keep looking.
  • What is the fee, and what is not included? Government fees, stamp duty and DSC charges should be stated separately from the professional fee.
  • Who do I call when a notice arrives? For a small business, direct access matters more than the size of the firm.
  • Do you keep track of my due dates? A good consultant tells you a deadline is coming. A poor one tells you after the late fee.
